On Thursday, Aug. 6, we welcomed 120 visitors to the Hall as part of the Chester County Planning Commission's "13 Tours for 13 Colonies" program. The guests learned about the Pennock family and the history of the Hall and got to see several 18th-century items owned by the Pennocks. After touring the Hall, the visitors enjoyed cookies and cold drinks under an awning while talking to a board member who has done research on the Hall's many configurations over the centuries. The Hall Board was happy to partner with the County to bring this tour into being, and we are so grateful to our volunteers who did such a great job exemplifying Joseph Pennock's well-known hospitality.
