On July 19, 2025, nearly 50 Pennocks young and old arrived from across the country to their ancestral home, Primitive Hall, for a family reunion. Conversation was lively: guests told family stories, compared notes about their genealogy research, and in some cases made plans to share their DNA results. On display for the occasion was the original bill of sale, signed and sealed by William Penn in 1681, for the land where Primitive Hall is located. We welcomed professional genealogist Sydney Cruice for a lecture on how to conduct one's own ancestral research.
